When is blueberry season?
- Generally begins early July through late August.
What is the price for U-PICK?
- $2.50 per pound
Do you have a minimum on U-PICK?
- Yes, you must pick a minimum of 2 pounds or there will be a flat $5 fee for anything under 2 pounds.
Are your blueberries organic?
- The berries are not sprayed with any chemicals.
What forms of payment do you accept?
- We accept all forms of credit/debit cards, Apple/ Google pay and cash. NO CHECKS.
Can I need to bring my own containers?
- Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own containers for berry picking. Please note that if you choose to do so, you must check in first to receive a wristband and have your container pre-weighed before you begin picking.
Do I need to make a reservation to come U-Pick?
- Reservations are only required for groups of 15 or more. Please note that field trips are not permitted on weekends.
Does your farm accommodate big groups?
- YES. We have specific days reserved for big groups of 15 or more. Please email bellevueblueberryfarms@gmail.com to set up your appointment. To ensure that all of our guests have a good picking experience. We do not allow big groups on weekends.
Are dogs allowed?
- YES, we are pet-friendly. Please make sure all pet(s) are on leash and pick up after your pet(s). Just keep in mind that our farm has very limited shade so please plan ways to keep your pet(s) most comfortable.
Do you have any other berries besides blueberries available for U-Pick?
- Only blueberries are available for u-pick. However, you may shop at our farm stand for seasonal fruits and produce.
Are there parking available at your farm?
- Yes, both farms have parking available.
- Larsen Lake – Gravel parking lot. Very limited and carpooling is highly encouraged.
- Mercer Slough – Parking lot by farmstand (limited). Additional parking at the Park & Ride/Garage.
Is your farm ADA-accessible?
- ADA parking is available for the farmstand only. For U-Pick, we DO NOT recommend since it is quite a distance. However, if you would still like to participate we recommend visiting Larsen Lake.
What other important information do I need to be aware of?
- Please be aware that there may be wasp/hornet nests in the farm. It is normal to encounter bees and insects at a berry farm. We recommend bringing Benadryl or cream just in case you do get stung. If you are highly allergic to bee stings, we DO NOT recommend berry picking.
- You pick at your own risk and we are not responsible for any accidents or injury.
What to bring?
- Wear comfortable clothes/shoes, hat, sunscreen and lots of drinking water.
- A wagon if you have small children. Strollers are NOT recommended.
Is your farm kid-friendly?
- Larsen Lake is more kid-friendly than Mercer Slough but kids can participate at both locations. Please be prepared for a lot of walking!
